Lymph node cancer or lymphoma is a cancer that accounts for approximately five percent of all cancers. It predominantly effects males but is not exclusive to men. Those most at risk are between the ages of fifteen and thirty four and those over the age of fifty-four. This does not mean that anyone outside of this age range is not at risk but statistically it does seem to fall inside those age groups at a greater rate. Hodgkins Disease is a form of lymph node cancer but is rare in its occurrence. Treatments that were once experimental and have been found to be effective are now being used to treat and cure lymph node cancer.
